Insurance
I am not currently paneled with any insurance companies directly, but I work with many clients using their out-of-network benefits! Many insurances, particularly PPO and POS plans, will reimburse anywhere from 40% to 100% of my session cost. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services.
I recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:
- Do I have out-of-network benefits for mental health services provided via telehealth?
- Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
- Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
- How much does my insurance plan reimburse for an out-of-network provider for CPT codes 90791, 90837, and 90847?
- Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?
Payment
I use a HIPAA-Compliant app called IvyPay to complete payment transactions- it is sort of like Venmo for therapists! I will tell you more about this once we have scheduled your initial session, and I am happy to answer any questions you may have.
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate ($200) of the session.
